Flameless Candles As An Educational Tool / Fundraiser:

The Fire-Safe Flameless Candle Fundraising Program is intended to be a simple fundraising tool for fire and emergency service organizations. Program participation is free with no hidden costs or obligations. All candles come without batteries with the exception of the Fire Hydrant Flameless Candle. All purchases are non-refundable.

Flameless Candles For Individual Use:

Some organizations and individuals prefer not to participate in the program and opt to order candles as gifts for personal use. Candles can either be purchased individually or by the case. Please not that by ordering by the case offers the benefit of bulk discounts. When candles are purchased individually, the full retail price is charged along with an additional shipping charge of $2.50 per candle. When candles are purchased by the case, they are typically discounted up to 25% and shipping is factored into the original price.

Participating organizations using the candles as an educational tool / fundraiser can choose from the following program options:

Pre-Purchase
Organizations may order candles and sell them after purchase. With this option, organizations pay for the order in full prior to shipment. This causes organizations to carry inventory during the fundraising process. For organizations that host events attracting large crowds, such as an open house, this option may prove useful because candles can be sold on-site.

Pre-Sell
This option allows organizations to use a preprinted order from and solicit orders from the community. Once all orders have been submitted to the participating organization, a master order is placed with CFSI. This allows organizations to avoid up front costs and the possibility of leftover inventory. Pre-selling is a good option when going door-to-door or soliciting orders from family and friends. It also gives organizations the flexibility to approach fundraising at any price.

Flameless Candle Fire Safety Education Program
This option encourages your organization to do what it should do best; educate the public about fire safety! Using this option your department signs up online at www.reducefires.com After signing up you are directed to a tools section on the website where you can download and reproduce literature to distribute in your community. Every piece of literature has a web address on it where community members and family members can purchase flameless candles. 20% of every candle purchased on this site will be donated back to your organizations. The customers simply need to select your organization name when checking out.
